Larry is the founding Principal and Principal Emertius of Uzun + Case.  He retired from active practice in 2023.

Larry has been practicing structural engineering for over 40 years. After starting his career as a bridge engineer he expanded into buildings, which ignited his passion for details.

Larry thrives on breaking down complex architectural building concepts into constructible and affordable components, as demonstrated on his award-winning design for the Georgia Aquarium, a fast-track project which went from concept to grand opening in 2-1/2 years.

Larry enjoys traveling the world with his wife. Larry is an avid recreational runner, having run 30 Peachtree Road Races and 2 Boston Marathons.
