Project Manager

Uzun + Case is expanding our Chicago team and seeking a Project Manager to lead structural engineering projects in a collaborative, design-focused environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of engineers, managing multiple commercial projects at various phases of construction. Our atmosphere and ethics focus on collaboration within our team, as well as with other members of the design and construction teams to develop creative and cost-effective designs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures.
  • Provide detailed design drawings using Revit.
  • Prepare and coordinate structural construction specifications.
  • Coordinate structural design with Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and other design disciplines.
  • Provide construction administration services, including shop drawing review, RFI review and response, and perform site visits.

Qualifications Should Include:

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in structural analysis and design, with a focus on steel, concrete, and masonry design.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PE/SE licensure.
  • Drafting/modeling experience preferable.
