This state-of-the-art cancer research facility houses laboratories, administrative offices, meeting spaces, and special equipment for some 35 Augusta University research faculty and approximately 175 associated personnel.
The structural design includes auger-cast pile foundations, reinforced concrete framed floors, and a large mechanical steel penthouse on the roof.
The concrete floors were specifically designed and detailed for sensitive floor vibrations to protect specialized medical equipment during use.
