• This new two-tiered concert hall is part of the mixed-use entertainment development surrounding the Braves’ baseball stadium. It has a flexible configuration capable of hosting live music, corporate meetings, and private events and can seat up to 3,800 people.
• During the design phase, various structural framing schemes were explored and priced. Driven by the cost of an exterior wall assembly’s necessity to meet the sound isolation requirements, a perimeter 12″ CMU load bearing wall with infill steel framing was selected. The walls vary from 25 to 35 feet in height.
• Over the stage, a steel grid was provided to allow for flexibility for the rigging requirements of various shows.
• The project came in below budget.
