Structural Features
- The 37-foot-tall, double helix sculpture was designed by artist Martin Dawe and created by metal smith Andrew Crawford.
- U+C designed the sculpture’s base, which attaches to the existing podium building’s elevated concrete floor framing.
- The base is composed of a 34-foot diameter, 3-foot tall cast-in-place concrete pedestal with an embedded steel base plate.
