Structural Features

  • The Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) renovated and expanded its current facility adding a new 3-story, 32,000 sf building.
  • This project provided GEMA with the necessary training facilities, temporary quarters, office spaces, and tools for the State to address emergencies endangering its citizens.
  • Throughout construction, the critically important State Operations Center was required to remain fully open and operational during its expansion which added significant telecom/data, computers, and communication equipment as well as upgrading the HVAC systems.
