This office tower includes 6-levels of below-grade parking, a 6,500 sf event space, and over 80 collaborative spaces for employees.
The office levels are typically framed with cast-in-place concrete post-tensioned girders and mild reinforced slabs and beams. The parking levels are typically framed with cast-in-place concrete post-tensioned one way slabs and post-tensioned beams.
A street-level plaza was designed to support the load of fire trucks accessing the building. These heavy loads mixed with long spans and 31-foot-long cantilevers of the parking deck framing below presented a design challenge that was met by designing 4-foot deep post-tensioned beams.
