The Hyatt Regency Trinidad serves an anchor element of the International Waterfront Centre mixed-use project located in the heart of a revitalized urban district in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
The 428-key hotel incorporates conference space, public esplanades, terraces and verandas.
The structural framing for the hotel included special reinforced shear walls, suitable for the high seismicity of the site, and conventionally reinforced concrete flat plate floor slabs.
The hotel complex included two separate ballroom buildings with long-span framed roofs.
