Metropolitan at Midtown

Uzun + Case designed over half of the buildings within this dense urban mixed-use development including office, residential, and retail structures.
The tallest structure, a 10-story office building centers the project. An adjacent 2-story, 126,000 sf retail building stacks two big box stores over each for efficient use of space. Three more surrounding buildings feature residential living over street-level retail and range from 4 to 6 stories tall.
Multiple structural systems were used to provide the most efficient design for each building type, including steel framed, post-tensioned concrete flat-plate, and mild reinforced concrete designs.
