Structural Features

  • U+C is the structural engineer for the base hospital building, originally constructed in 2014, and all the expansions for this multiphase project.
  • The current project includes vertical expansion to the existing hospital bed tower and new structures that double the emergency department and more than double the number of inpatient beds.
  • At the owner’s request, the structures are designed for future vertical and adjacent expansion opportunities.
