• This project serves as Comcast’s regional office headquarters, housing approximately 1,000 employees, and sits in the heart of The Battery Atlanta, home to the Atlanta Braves baseball stadium.
• The project’s below-grade parking levels extends beyond the footprint of the office tower, with the lid over parking serving to support a large landscaped plaza. The plaza is designed for various heavy-load components such as a large landscaped turf area, multiple water features, a stage, and a large canopy and bridge.
• An outdoor terrace wraps three sides of the tower’s roof to provide stunning views of the baseball field and surrounding mixed-use development. To shade the terrace, a unique cantilever concrete canopy was designed with exposed concrete roof slabs and beams with tapered soffits which dramatically enhances the aesthetics of the building.
