Peabody Union

This 2.5-acre mixed-use development features a 6-story office tower and a 26-story residential high-rise tower, both constructed above a shared underground parking structure.
The office building was designed to eliminate the expansion joint from the plaza level through the full height of the office floors, resulting in a continuous floor plate spanning over 400 linear feet.
The residential tower was structurally engineered for an accelerated construction schedule. The use of slip-formed concrete shear walls and a combination of precast and cast-in-place stairs enabled core construction to remain ahead of floor plate construction, facilitating expedited project delivery.
The high-rise residential tower is rotated 30 degrees and spans over two retail buildings, creating a dynamic architectural presence.
