This large campus development prioritizes student-centric spaces and is comprised of two distinctive student housing towers connected by a central building.
The 11-story north tower features 581 beds in suite-style apartments and a student dining hall.
The 14-story South Tower includes 7 stories of suite-style apartments with 402 beds. The lower levels include collegiate classrooms, meeting rooms, parking levels, terraced pool deck, and large fitness center.
The development’s structural framing consists of light gauge steel bearing walls supported by a cast-in-place concrete podium utilizing economic flat plate post-tensioned designs.
The central connector building houses the SCAD campus store, a 700-seat auditorium, and a 150-seat black box theater.
The development connects to the existing SCAD Forty residential tower, also designed by Uzun + Case.
