University of Georgia - Special Collections Library

This unique library houses three separate special collections: the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Collection, the Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies, and the Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Award Collections.
Each special collections library has its own gallery to display permanent and rotating exhibits.
The facility includes a shared subterranean vault for high density storage, for which special waterproofing and floor flatness measures were implemented.
