Since joining Uzun + Case in 2015, Stephen has worked on a wide variety of hospitality, educational, and cultural projects. His experience includes both new construction and renovations to existing structures. He enjoys challenges and clients benefit from his ability to find economical solutions to complex problems.
His leadership is known company-wide by heading the internal Steel Design Committee where he has developed several standards and tools for efficient and buildable designs. Locally, Stephen serves on the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia’s Board of Directors. At the national level, he participates on the ASCE 7 Main and Wind Load Subcommittees and is known for his involvement with the development of the national structural engineer’s licensure examination.
Outside the office, Stephen is an avid reader and board game enthusiast. In their free time, he and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors with family, their dogs, and their horse.
