Clients value Stephen’s ability to turn complex design challenges into clear, buildable outcomes. He leads the firm’s internal Steel Design Committee, where he has developed proprietary tools and company-wide standards that streamline steel design and improve constructability. His leadership ensures that every project at Uzun and Case benefits from the latest innovations in structural steel design.
Stephen’s influence also extends beyond the firm. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia and contributes nationally to the development of structural engineering standards and licensure examinations. His involvement helps keep clients’ projects aligned with evolving codes, best practices, and industry expectations.
Whether navigating technical constraints or collaborating with architects and contractors, Stephen brings a solutions-oriented mindset that helps clients move forward with confidence.
Outside the office, Stephen is an avid reader and board game enthusiast. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, their dogs, and their horse.
