Tani has over 30 years of experiences in civil and structural engineering practices for both domestic and international projects. The majority of his works include designing high-rise buildings, developing unique structural systems and details, solving structural field problems and designing structural retrofits. Tani is passionate about structural engineering. He is practical, innovative and creative in structural solutions while maintaining balance between function, cost and aesthetic.

Besides managing projects, Tani also has very strong experiences in structural design and analysis using computer models such as Finite Element Analysis, complex 3D framing, soil-structure interactions, structural dynamics and advanced techniques for seismic design.

Outside of work, Tani enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking along natural trails.
