Andrew believes that integrating structure and architecture is a collaborative process requiring the balance of engineering mechanics with thoughtful detailing to achieve design goals. He thrives on working with clients to find the right mix of art and science, making each project a rewarding and creative endeavor.

With over two decades of experience in design and construction, Andrew leads the Raleigh office with a deep understanding of structural engineering across a diverse range of sectors, including office, mixed-use, higher education, and science and technology. He is recognized for his collaborative approach, working closely with clients to craft structural solutions that not only meet technical requirements but also align seamlessly with the broader project vision.

While away from work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, running, reading science fiction, and playing golf – though he insists his short game is just misunderstood. If you ask him, he’s only one good round away from going pro… or at least beating his coworkers.
