Martin is a Senior Principal and founding partner of Uzun + Case.  He has over 40 years of experience in structural design of steel, concrete and precast buildings, however his passion since starting his professional career has been focused on concrete post-tensioned structures.

Martin has been successfully involved with a large number of projects located in the United States and the Caribbean.  He believes that each project, regardless of its size and scope, warrants his attention.  He is involved in all aspects of his projects, from design development to construction administration, from meeting with owners to handling contractor questions.

During his career, Martin has developed relationships that go beyond his engineering technical ability by developing professional and personal relationships that are based on mutual respect and teamwork.  In 2012, Martin was awarded the Engineer of the Year in Private Practice award by the Georgia Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies.

Originally from Nicaragua, Martin finds fulfillment in helping others.  His favorite charitable activities include donating school supplies to children in Nicaragua and leading Uzun + Case’s annual Clark’s Kids efforts.  He also enjoys spending time with his family; his wife Maria, two daughters, and his grandchildren.
