Martin is a Senior Principal and founding partner of Uzun + Case, bringing over four decades of experience in the structural design of steel, concrete, and precast buildings. Since the beginning of his career, his passion has centered on concrete post-tensioned structures – a focus that has shaped many of the firm’s most complex and successful projects.
Martin leads projects across the United States and the Caribbean, always approaching each one with the same level of care and commitment, regardless of size or scope. He is deeply involved in every phase of his projects, from design development to construction administration, and is known for his hands-on approach with owners, architects, and contractors alike.
Clients value Martin not only for his technical expertise but also for the relationships he builds. His leadership is rooted in mutual respect, collaboration, and a genuine investment in the success of every team he works with. In recognition of his contributions to the profession, Martin was honored with the Engineer of the Year in Private Practice award by the Georgia Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2012.
Originally from Nicaragua, Martin finds fulfillment in giving back. He leads Uzun + Case’s annual Clark’s Kids initiative and supports education in his home country by donating school supplies to children in need. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Maria, their two daughters, and his grandchildren.
